Family and friends showing love and support for their incarcerated loved ones.

We are sick, most of us have fevers and chills, we are scared and even after our families call they are still refusing us medical attention. Who can we reach out to for help? We don't want to die in here.

Hello to all of the Inmates Live's Matter Too followers. I just ask that all of you come together and pray for us, and if you could then also spread the word of our poor and inhumane conditions being locked up in the Marion county jail. I ask that for anyone who have loved ones, friends or family being housed in the Marion county jail to pray for them, call and check on them and also contact anybody you know or that you think could make a difference concerning our poor treatment and the lack of precautions that's being taken to secure our health and well being. Sheriff Billy Woods is constantly lying about the extra precautions that's being taken to secure our safety and to stop the spread of this deadly virus throughout the Marion county jail. Right now majority of everybody in my dorm is having some type of known symptom that hint to being infected by the covid-19 virus. Inmates have been taking out of this dormitory for high fevers and have later tested positive for the covid-19 virus. I think that our request are being denied to get tested to keep the true numbers of the infected inmates and the constant spread of this deadly virus away from the public because it will prove my claim of the lies and poor precautions that's being told and taking by Sheriff Billy Woods. It is our family, friends and loved ones right to know of our true conditions, health and well being while being held in the Marion county jail. Instead the public is being lied to by our Sheriff and nothing is being done to stop the constant spread. We ask that all of our loved ones, family and friends please call and make complaints and demands that we get tested and better treatment and precautions to help secure our health and well being because INMATES LIVE'S MATTER TOO- we are also humans and deserve to be treated as such. If our request to get tested are answered then i promise that the numbers that's being released to the public will double that.. Please Please Please be our voice and stand with us.

We stopped someone from committing su***de the other day. Someone in here committed su***de yesterday. Let's see if the good ol' sheriff Billy "lying" Woods is going to address how inmates rather take their own life than to live in these conditions. No bonds, no court dates and no way out. Or how they "wash" the mask and reissue them out to different inmates. People are sick, people are scared. Will we all have to get sick before things change?

If you have loved ones locked up let them know that everyday at 5 p.m. we will be forming a prayer circle and chanting inmates lives matter too. We will be praying for us all and for the ones that are in here really sick and not getting the proper treatment that they deserve. Together we stand, divided we fall. Inmates lives matter too! Keep us in your prayers.

19 trustees were just placed in quarantine, the same ones who prepare our meals. After running out of toilet paper, 6 rolls of toilet paper was just brought down in a dorm of 88 inmates to share. Please support and speak up so that changes can be made in mcj. Most of us are sitting in here without court dates, we are all innocent until proving guilty and should not have to basically be sitting ducks waiting to catch a virus due to poor sanitation. Billy Woods is all about money and can care less if we live or die.

They're trying to silence us. We won't be silenced until changes come to mcj.

First of all we would like to thank everyone who is supporting the Inmates Livesmattertoo movement. Just to know that we are in your thoughts, hearts and prayers means so much to us that's being kept incarcerated during the time of this covid-19 pandemic. We admit that some or even most of our fellow inmates are incarcerated for a reason, but we are all innocent until proven guilty in the court of law. Our greatest concerns we want to share with the public is the treatment and the lack of proper cleaning supplies and materials that's being issued to fight off a deadly virus that is not only a threat to us, but globally. Right now we are being housed in a 3600 sq. ft. open bay dormitory that houses 88 inmates, there are 88 bunks, 8 toilets, 8 sinks, 4 phones, 5 visitation monitors, 5 shower heads, and 8 picnic tables. All they are providing us with to keep it sanitized is a watered down quarter gallon of bleach and germicide in a spray bottle to disinfect the whole dormitory which consists of a majority of metal objects. Even though they put these quarter gallons in the dorm twice a day, it is no where near enough to keep the dorm and all the objects that are in constant use throughout the day disinfected period, let alone during the spread of the covid-19 virus, because the spread of this virus so many of us have went through all of the proper chains of command to be tested, out of fear and concern of our health and well being. We have filed sick call requests, formal grievances, medical emergencies and even had our families contact the Marion County Jail demanding that we are tested for this deadly virus to no prevail. Please continue to be our voices on the outside for better and safer conditions on the inside.
