For locals only...
A fellow writer asked me about the significance of seven to me with my two books having seven in the title (On the 7th Day and The Last Seven Days.) I would love to say it was something deep and symbolic especially considering the significance of the number 7 in my faith, but the storylines really dictated the respective titles. There are however, some interesting numerical patterns in my life. Two related to my kids:
- My 1st was born at 10:01 (and I was born at 1:01).
- My 2nd was born on 11/2 (1+1 = 2) and was born on my 2nd wedding anniversary.
Look out for these numbers in Book Baby 3!
Today is my godmother's birthday, my (11th) wedding anniversary and my daughter's (9th) birthday. There's a book in here somewhere: a futuristic novel where families are allotted certain days to create memories? A women's fiction novel where the main character has no memory of her past but something pulls her back to her home town on 11/2? A psychological thriller where the main character is orchestrating things to happen on 11/2? Not sure but no time to spend in Tamikofied Reality today...too much celebrating to do! Happy 11/2 everyone!!

I'd love to say I was spending time in Tamikofied Reality prepping for Book 3, but I'm just enjoying Progresso Yucatan!
A woman well into her 60s introduced herself to my 67 year old uncle as Spicy Kitty. I'm not judging, just wondering what type of book y'all would get if I spent too much time with Spicy Kitty in Tamikofied Reality! 🤔

A very special announcement...
The Last Seven Days' Character Spotlight: Sky Washington
People have responded, or should I say reacted to, Sky the most. Funny thing is, she didn't become a "speaking" character until the final draft. She wouldn't leave me alone until I replaced Kevin with her as point of view character. You know how strong a fictional character has to be to make a real author adjust her plans? I must admit, Sky may be a lot of things, but she was right about her story needing to be told. If you've read The Last Seven Days, you know what I'm talking about. If you haven't, check it out...hopefully you've never had a friend like her...
