Your Sewing Machine Is Not Moving Fabric?
Do this!


Have you been in a situation where your sewing machine is moving but the fabric stays in one place?

Your needle is just going in and out on one spot.



The reason for this is below👇

The feed dog mechanism is a out of its place. It is sitting a bit too low.

(If you have been following my posts, you should know that a "feed dog" is also know as "teeth")


So what do you do?

Unscrew the needle plate and take out the feed dog.

If the feed dog is broken, replace it with a new one.

If not, proceed to the step below👇

Check if the feed dog screws are well tightened. If they are not, tighten it and test.



If that is done and there is no change, do this last thing👇


👉 Take out the feed dog.

👉 Cut a thin piece of cardboard (not more than 1 inch in length and breadth). Fold it into two. This will act as your spacer/washer.

👉 Put this “spacer/washer” between the feed dog and the mechanism on which it sits.

👉 Put the feed dog back.
