Happy Sunday!

Our routine hasn’t changed at all regardless of the COVID-19. We got up, had brunch (at home of course) and are spending the day cleaning and doing laundry. I even got a blog post done to post on Monday and had the best cup of coffee this morning. We, went for a mile long walk with the dog in this beautiful weather and even saw some cute kittens and a mama in a tree, we went back after and left her some fresh tuna.

How has your Sunday been?

We may be in but it’s also season. If you can, get out of the house and go for a brisk walk, the bluebonnets are in season and are prettier than ever! 💙💙💙

During this time we may be struggling to see the light at the end of the tunnel, but we assure you, there is!

Social distancing be like;

Working from home can be tough for those that are used to an office setting, so here are a few tips to help you stay focused and motivated!

1) Have a set "office space" - You don't necessarily need an office in your home but a set place where you can get some work done is definitely going to help you stay focused.

2) Keep a note-pad and something to write with near you. Jotting down little notes is a great way to stay focused and prioritized. Staying at home can mean a lot of distractions that aren't common in the workplace like getting that extra load of laundry done or washing those few dishes. Write it down and get to it later if you can.

3) TAKE A LUNCH. I can't stress this enough, use your lunch time to get those things mentioned in Tip #2 done. You may work from home, but it does not mean your work is any less important then those that commute to an office. Your time is still your time.

4) Stay motivated with "focus time" put time on YOUR calendar to focus on specific things you normally would in office. Blocking your calendar off lets your colleagues know you're busy and allows you to 100% focus on the task.

5) Last but not least, you don't have to work in silence! Play some music or a podcast in the background to give you some white noise while you work! It helps with the stir craziness, I promise!
