It was a magical weekend reconnecting with nature and myself. Reminding myself I'm a child of the earth and that our souls are deeply rooted in the earth around us.
As soon as my feet hit the dirt, the sun hits my skin, the water washes over me, and the smoke from the fire wraps around me.... I feel grounded. I feel cleansed. I feel peace.
I have an overwhelming amount of gratitude that even on my busiest days, I get to work so closely with nature. I can feel it in my bones that this path was written in the stars for me long ago. To keep me close to Mother Nature and to bring me back to myself time and time again.
Through each flower, design, and concept, I will continue to weave together life, love, and memories to create works of natural beauty with energy that withstands the test of time, replenishing and recycling back into the world.

✨ Summertime in Northern Michigan ✨
Seriously, there is nothing better than a summer up north.
Gearing up to enjoy this last hot month before we transition into fall.
There are still so many swims to take, beaches to walk, bonfires to tend, rivers to float, and places to camp.
This year, I forced myself to find a work/ life balance. I LOVE my job; my whole world revolves around flowers and this business, but I remind myself how short life is.... how beautiful this state we live in, and how one day I might not be able to do these other things I love so much.
So get out and enjoy the season.

✨ Kicked vacation off by taking an exam!✨ On Sunday I took a big step in my career and personal goals by taking credentials testing to become a member of AIFD (American Institute of Floral Design).
It was a design intensive exam to test you on the principals and elements of floral design, time management, creativity, mechanics, and techniques. It was incredibly stressful to say the least!!
The pieces we needed to make included a cascading crescent bridal bouquet, boutonniere to match, a sympathy arrangement for a pet, an arrangement for a corporate office, and a designers choice item- I choose to create a bowtie!
I won't find out if I passed till the end of the month but no matter what I feel very proud of the pieces I created. This endeavor has been in my bucket list for some time and I'm proud of myself for taking this next step. And... Even if I don't pass this round, you bet your butt I'll be going back to try it again!
I want to thank all of my mentors, friends and family for all of the support. I really couldn't do it without all of you 💜
Well here's to hoping for more alphabet soup after my name! 🥂...stay tuned!

I was recently reminded of this wild bouquet by this stunning bride for the most perfect reason possible...
When I create each couple's wedding flowers, especially the bridal bouquet, each arrangement is weaved with love and intention for a lifetime of passion and happiness and health. Each flower is thoughtfully picked and placed. When deciding on what flowers will be used, I ALWAYS pick at least one item that has a significant amount of fragrance
Fragrance plays a significant role on our memories. A certain scent can take you back to a memory you may have long forgotten. Like the smell of your grandpa's cologne, or a particular home cooked meal or maybe your grandma's favorite flower she grew in the backyard.
Your wedding day is a day you will want to replay over and over again. I will always place a special fragrance in your bouquet so when you get a smell of it on a warm sunny day, it will take you right back to that particular memory.
Our sweet S from 2022, recently proved our point! She recently reached out saying while being on vacation (2 years after the wedding) she came across a scent while adventuring, and even though she wasn't sure what flower was giving off this heavenly scent it immediately reminded her of her bouquet! She said it brought her back to so many happy memories.
And that my friends is why I do what I do. You are not just another bride. It's not just another flower. It isn't about the money. We are helping to create meaningful memories and connections.
