Every single Spotify user counts! A track that is saved in a personal playlist is much more likely to be streamed repeatedly.

At Ampligo, we create tailor-made strategies that increase the exposure of your track and target the right audiences. One of our aims is to maximize the probability of your track being saved and added on personal playlists.

Our team of Music and Data Analysts works to ensure that the right people actually engage with your music; and you will be able to track these results for yourself in our platform!

Andrea has founded and is currently CEO at Ampligo.

Passionate for Music, he dived into the industry in various roles such as producer, dj, label owner and artist manager. Soon after, thanks to the difference experiences that he had, he decided to focus on helping artists to grow their potential through the various Streaming Platforms (DSP’s).
Stimulated by the synergy between Technology and Music, he decided to blend the two, thus founding Ampligo.

His daily routine varies from talking with artists from all over the world, to study and discuss with the team new ways of data analysis and possible technology implementations in order to improve and expand what the company can offer to the Artists.

His biggest passion is playing Music live.

The Most Important Spotify Metrics - Followers, Monthly Listeners & Plays

Being able to gather data from DSPs to better understand your listeners is fundamental in order to expand your audience, but it can be overwhelming at times. Just like Songstats mentions in this article, the three most significant metrics on Spotify are followers, monthly listeners and plays. On our upcoming platform, artists will be able to monitor these stats daily and find all the essential info in one place and in an intuitive way.

“Targeting is one of the most important things the algorithm is optimized to do, and as your followers grow, you essentially feed the system with information to profile your audience. The more precise of a picture the algorithm is able to draw from your listeners, the more likely it is to recommend you to the right people with a similar taste.”

YouTube just generated $5bn from ads in a single quarter – and YouTube Music has over 30m subscribers - Music Business Worldwide

YouTube Music may be worth keeping an eye on in the near future: in the past nine months, the Music app registered 10m more subscriptions globally. Spotify remains however the biggest by far in the subscriptions game, reportedly gaining 20m more paying users in the same period.

Nobody beats YouTube in terms of ad revenue though - the video streaming platform generated a whopping $5bn in one single quarter. As Music Business Worldwide puts it “for music industry rights holders, the big question will be how big a slice of that $5bn-plus in quarterly advertising dollars is getting paid out to the music industry.”

Spotify to allow artists and labels to influence its curation algorithm – in return for a royalty discount | Complete Music Update

Spotify is rolling out a new feature that allows musicians to directly influence the algorithm, but it does come with a price. What do you think?
