The War With Weight! A great story about a journey of struggle and reward. When it's too much, one must make some changes and take action. But when is too much?
Listen to find out how it went for Monique!🙌
The reason I feel honoured is because it is such a personal story to share, and there is stigma around this topic. So thank you for sharing with me on my podcast.

Heart to Heart with Lucia!
Jordz has been on his own journey in the recent two years with open heart surgery. During this time, he has been fortunate enough to meet others who have very different and also similar heart conditions. " I met Lucia through a psychologist who linked us up. I was paranoid thinking I was preparing to die, so to meet someone who had walked the walk was refreshing and reassuring". During this episode, Lucia shares a bit about what living with Tetralogy of Fallot, a congenital heart defect is like, and how such a huge surgery has impacted her. She also provides some advice for those who may be preparing for similar events and what family can do to support.
I recently sat down and talked with The Heart Foundation NZ about my journey with finding out I had to have another open heart surgery and some of the things that helped me get through.
Hope you enjoy or it helps. Happy to answer any questions around this. I'll be talking more about this in an episode of the Podcast also.
