Para Estudantes e Escolas que Formam HCAs
A Rotina Real

Quero deixar isto aqui para os estudantes e para as escolas que os treinam, para que entendam como o trabalho realmente é.

A profissão é HCA.

Para aqueles que acham que podem fazer um trabalho inadequado e não serem denunciados:
Se você acabar no mesmo turno que eu, só lhe desejo boa sorte!!

Eu NUNCA assinarei sua recomendação se você não demonstrar AMOR verdadeiro e respeito genuíno pelos seres humanos.

Cuidar de um idoso exige muito mais do que um livro e as provas que fazemos na escola.

Eu garanto: você não terá tempo de dobrar uma toalha oito vezes ou menos…

Muitas vezes, seus pés serão usados como banheiro,
seus ombros como s**o de pancadas (e não apenas seus ombros)…

Você será confundido com um bom filho, um melhor amigo ou uma pessoa terrível.
Você será lembrado e esquecido muitas vezes
dentro de um único turno.

Você trabalhará ao lado de cobras pessoas que te abraçam e sorriem, enquanto aguardam a chance de te morder e tomar o seu lugar na hierarquia de senioridade.

Você perceberá que dentaduras não se limpam sozinhas durante a noite.

Você chegará para o turno da manhã e as encontrará imundas.

Você verá frascos de shampoo cheios de “água”,
biscoitos em gavetas mais duros que asfalto
ou mofados, porque quase ninguém verif**a.

Unhas sujas, e não, não é de pasta de amendoim.

E isso é apenas parte de tudo.

Prepare também o seu emocional.

Quando você realmente se dedica, o amor e o carinho passam a fazer parte da sua rotina.
E isso signif**a que, cada vez que eles partem,
uma parte de você vai junto.

O que mais tem me esgotado é lidar com estudantes que estão interessados apenas em processos de imigração.

Dói pensar que o pai ou a mãe de alguém
possa acabar nas mãos de um desses estudantes
que andam de um lado para o outro sem demonstrar interesse em aprender, que nem sequer sabem usar a colher correta para alimentar um residente sem colocá-lo em risco de engasgo.

Isso não é apenas falta de treinamento. É falta de humanidade !

For Students and Schools That Train HCAs — The Real Routine

I want to leave this here for students and for the schools that train them, so they understand what the job is really like.

The profession is HCA.

To those who think they can do an inadequate job and not be reported:
if you end up on the same shift as me, I only wish you good luck !!

I will NEVER sign your recommendation if you don't demonstrate real LOVE and genuine respect for human beings.

Caring for an elderly person requires far more than a book and the tests we take in school.
I guarantee you: you will not have time to fold a towel eight times or less...
Many times, your feet will be used as a toilet,
your shoulders as a punching bag ( not only your shoulders )....

You will be mistaken for a good son, a best friend,
or a terrible person.
You will be remembered and forgotten many times
within a single shift.

You will work alongside snakes, people who hug you and smile, while waiting for the chance to bite you
and take your place in the seniority ladder.

You will realize that dentures do not clean themselves overnight.
You will arrive for the morning shift and find them filthy,
You will see shampoo bottles filled with “water,”
cookies in drawers harder than asphalt
or moldy, because hardly anyone checks.

Dirty fingernails, and no, it’s not from peanut butter.

And this is only part of it.

Prepare your emotions as well.
When you truly dedicate yourself, love and affection become part of your routine.
And that means that every time they pass away,
a piece of you goes with them.

What has exhausted me the most
is dealing with students who are only interested in immigration paperwork.

It hurts to think that someone’s father or mother
could end up in the hands of one of these students
who walk back and forth showing no interest in learning, who don’t even know how to use the correct spoon to feed a resident without putting them at risk of choking.

This is not just a lack of training, It is a lack of humanity.

So tenho a agradecer a Deus por segurar nas minhas maos e me levantar todas as vezes que pensei em desistir e chutar o balde ! Por afastar pessoas negativas e sugadoras da minha paz, e por trazer pessoas com coraçao e mentes mais adultas... Por me dar uma linda familia, meu marido, e manter os meus amigos de longe bem mais perto. Por cada cliente conquistado, por cada lagrima, cada sorriso...

Centennial Trail – Whiteshell, MB

The Centennial Trail is a 37 km hiking trail in Whiteshell Provincial Park, Manitoba. It features rocky terrain, forests, lakes, and nice viewpoints, with options for both short hikes and longer routes. Enjoy it !!

Adam Lake, MB

3 hours drive from Winnipeg ( USA border, few km of Peace Gardens )

The campground is split into several “bays” – Hartley, Breadon, Sharpe, Oskar – plus the Lakeview Bay group area. There are 42 electrical-only sites, 36 water & electrical, and 24 basic tent spots. Shower not so great, but it works. Trails are very easy ! No much signal on phones lol. Very quiet place.

Lundar Beach Provincial Park é um parque provincial. Lake Manitoba, aguas normalmente calmas e super raso ( tirando epoca que a beira f**a cheia de algas, que acaba sendo meio nojento ... Pulando isso è um lugar muito legal para familia com crianças ) È bem tranquilo.

Para banho, aceita moedas de $1,00 ou $2,00

Para quem tem trailer, tem alguns spots com energia elétrica ( infelizmente nao tem full service ). Tambem nao tem loja para comprar nada e quase nao funciona sinal de telefone lol... paz para alguns, caos para outros hahahha...

Mais 1 ano de vida … Só tenho a agradecer a Deus por tudo, por ter uma família linda e saudável.
Nem tudo são flores, e as vezes no nosso caminho vão haver muitos buracos, e em meio aos buracos vão haver pessoas para jogar pedras, vão te julgar, vão tentar te mudar, te tornar aquela pessoa que elas esperam que você seja… A vida é isso, um dia em pé outro deitado … fato !!! 😂😂😂😂 Obrigada a todos que me aceitam como eu sou, os que deram risada e os que choraram comigo ao longo desses anos. E obrigada tbm aos que apenas passaram pela minha vida, pq de alguma forma tbm aprendi algo c vocês (mesmo que seja praticar a despedida). Beijo no coração ♥️

One more year of life... 🙌🏻I just have to thank God for everything, for having a beautiful and healthy family. Not everything is perfect and sometimes on our path there will be many holes and in the middle of the holes there will be people to throw more stones, they will judge you, they will try to change you, make you that person they hope you to be...
Life … one day standing up and the other lying down... lol fact!!! 😂😂😂😂 Thank you to everyone who accepts me as I am, those who laughed and those who cried with me over these years.
And thank you also to those who just passed through my life because in some way I also learned something from you (saying goodbye). Big hugs !!! 🤗
