As a chronic people pleaser, I spent most of my life trying to be what other people wanted me to be.
To be likeable, acceptable and easy to understand.
But when your authentic self is a little weird like me, it’s exhausting.

Somewhere along the way, I lost sight of who I was and
I started hating myself. Not because there was anything wrong with me, but because I was living a version of me that wasn’t even real.

I became bland, frustrated and bitter. Because no matter how hard you try to be palatable, someone’s still going to find a reason to dislike you.

So you may as well be yourself. The only person who ever really needs to approve is you! 🗝️

It’s for anyone who’s ever felt like they’re too much for the people around them.
Or like their darkness disqualifies them from being loved.

But are not a burden. Being sensitive is such a superpower in today’s apathetic world.

You’re just human. And you’re enough.

Your worth as an artist is not defined by your age — or your appearance.
Your ideas, your art, your voice, your stories — those are what matter.

If you’re a musician feeling overlooked, I hope you know this:
You are still worthy. You are still powerful.
