As I reflect on the month of March, I can only say some months don’t just pass… they transform you & March 2026 was one of them.

I spoke at my first conference ever! I stepped out of my comfort zone and into conversations that matter.
Speaking up wasn’t easy but change doesn’t happen in silence. I spoke on something bigger than me—
what masculinity looks like in the Cape Verdean community, and how we can reshape it.

I’m truly honored to have been apart of this outstanding conference and contribute my thoughts on this topic.
