Last week, Edinburgh Business School, Dubai hosted a highly informative and engaging industry-academia event on upscaling inventory management which offered a great networking opportunity for students, alumni and industry professionals who attended.

Dr Shereen Nassar is the global Director of Logistics Studies & the Director of a number of Master's Programmes at Heriot-Watt University Dubai.

She is an active academic with strong ties with industry mainly in the field of logistics, operations and supply chain management. Over the years, she has developed extensive international teaching experience across the UK and MENA region.

Dr Shereen’s main research interests are in sustainability, supply chain resilience and digitalisation and she has published a number of commercial articles, sharing her business insights in the field of logistics and supply chain.

This programme is designed to offer knowledge in corporate finance and business management of companies. It combines key finance-related courses with business management courses focused on project management and strategy.

Dr Jelena Janjusevic is the Associate professor for Finance and Academic Head of Accountancy, Economic and Finance and Executive Education.

She teaches the UG and PG programs in finance and accounting and is actively involved in developing and coordinating the executive education portfolio for SoSS.
