This past weekend, President of the ACLSB attended his first CASMET Regional Council Meeting. Present at this meeting were the Executive of the CASMET led by Mrs. Marcia Robinson Walters (President) and AMT (American Medical Technologists) President Mr. Christopher Seay.
This was a huge step for our Medical professionals of Belize being that now with 41 registered MTs, Belize is officially a registered Branch of CASMET and by extention an affiliate of the AMT. This effort will now lead us to AMT certification which will soon be available in our country. It is the hope of the ACSLB to portrait the value and importance of the Medical Laboratory profession in Belize's healthcare sector.
We wish to congratulate our first 41 Laboratory professionals who have met the requirements and now have the privileges of MTs in the Caribbean, recognized by CASMET.
As our week comes to an end, we present the only inocent man in the country of Belize (a little humor) Mr Innocent Nwachukwu.
