Coach Dewitt is absolutely amazing!
Coach K and Coach Bailey both know him pretty well and are so excited to watch him!
He may not be a WAC coach or teacher, but we support the Huskies too!

Sectionals 10/21: Everyone went out strong and left it all on the course (Chase quite literally left his shoe 🤣.
Even though none of our boys are moving on to State Coach K and I couldn't be more proud of them.
Great work today and this season Bulldogs!!

South Milwaukee JV: Girls
Natalie, our one girl this season... I couldn't be more proud of you! Natalie ended her high school cross country career with a seasonal record (and she did it in the pouring rain).

South Milwaukee JV: Boys
To those that season ended today, Coach K and I are proud of you. Each of you have improved from the beginning of the season.
For those that are running on Saturday, do this all over again :)

Some updates about the next few days as we wrap up the season:
°Pasta party tonight in the cafeteria directly after practice.
°South Milwaukee JV: tomorrow (10/19). Bus leaves WAC at 1:30, athletes will be dismissed at 1:15pm.
Will, Abraham, Mateo, Chase, Bryan, Marc, Jackson, Brian, Jimmy, Corey - Race at 3:00 pm.
Natalie - race at 4:55 pm.
°Friday: Varsity runners will have a light practice this day, all JV runners are invited to join but not required.
°Saturday: Varsity runners (and any JV runners who wish to watch sectionals) arrive at the school no later than 8:30am, bus leaves at 8:45.
Mateo, Chase, Marc, Jimmy, Corey, Ethan, and Cristian - Race at 11:00 am. We will be leaving right after the boys race so we will be back at WAC around 12:30pm.
Keep your eyes open for an email from Coach K regarding the banquet next Tuesday.

3:45pm: Boys Junior Varsity 5000 meters (both East & West run together)
4:30pm: Girls Varsity 5000 meters (both East & West run together)
5:05pm: Boys Varsity 5000 meters (both East & West run together)
5:40pm: Awards

Bus will be leaving at 1:30pm, athletes will be getting out of class at 1:15pm

Waterford 10/6: It was a cold and wet meet but I think it's safe to say they had fun while we waited for their race, and everyone looked strong today.
Can't wait to watch everyone at Conference next week!

It's National Coaches Day!

Reminder that athletes will be getting out at 2:30pm tomorrow. We will be loading the vans at 2:45pm. There is a special guest driver as well!

Pasta party 9/27

Had a fun practice today at the park!
I created a scavenger hunt for them to complete around the park.
It was fun to see them working in their teams to try and beat each other!
Although it was a little scary having two packs of high schoolers all running towards me at once 😂

Cross country pictures are tomorrow (Tuesday 9/19) at 3pm.
Please make sure athletes bring their uniform to school.
Seniors do not need to take another picture.

Update on pictures:
This Thursday seniors should bring their uniforms as they will have their individual pictures taken for their banners.
Team pictures will take place on Tuesday 9/19

Our bus came early so we had time to play around.
Our boys crushed it today though!
They know I tell them after every meet that I'm proud of them all and that I almost cry... today they all said they could tell.
A huge shout out to Ethan for placing 4th in the JV boys race!
Can't wait to see what they all do the rest of the season!
