It was also very popular, and I didn't even have chance to get any close up photos. So here it is on my lovely model (I'm sure you're glad it's not me), and a few days later on it's ecstatic new owner

There's something magical about a deep, rich green. It always reminds me of thick foliage, deep in the woods where you might encounter a glorious stag. Or at least something disguised as a stag...

Even though yellow isn't usually one of my favourites, something about the shade of this dye just grabs me! A Cankard in this colour is the perfect canvas to emblazon with you initals

This particular customer likes to get everything in blue, mainly to spite his good friend, who has to have everything in red. Whatever the reason, it's a lovely colour!

This map of Crete was commissioned for a wonderful couples 3rd wedding anniversary.

Not only is it special to them, but it's the biggest map I have made to date at around 84cm (33in) wide! Working on something so big presented some challenges, but it was a fun project, and well worth the effort.

A little weekend WIP: my partner lost the sleeve for her coffee cup, so I got to work making her a custom one.
These photos show the process of transferring the design, carving the lines, then beveling and tattooing the details in.

It seems fitting that I'm working on a map of Crete while feeling like I might be a tad too close to the sun due to the size, it's a little intimidating! It'll be a beauty when it's finished though.

I'd argue that the snake could be added to Fiore's segno to embody everything Instabile, but for now a dagger sheath will have to do!
