Entrepreneur Casey Galloway from the Cafe XIX has acquired Cobblestone!

We love seeing our business owners (clients) dream, expand and succeed!

I wanted to introduce myself. My name is Casey Galloway, owner of Cafe 19 in Seneca Falls and now the new owner of Cobblestone Coffee Roaster's.

A lot of people have been asking about ordering coffee on the website, its down right now so we can transition everything. We hope to be taking orders again some time next week. Sorry about the inconvenience. I will make a post when we can start taking orders again.

I want to assure everyone that the quality of the coffee will remain just as exceptional as it always has been but there will be some changes coming so stay tuned.

Dear Friends, The recent announcement of the Generations Bank acquisition by ESL is on a lot of people minds. As a former officer of the bank, it comes with some mixed emotion.
Generations has given us a long legacy of community service, support and involvement. Under the leadership of Menzo Case, the bank participated in dozens of non-profits and donated hundreds of thousands of dollars to many local and regional organizations.
It provided competitive mortgages to thousands of homeowners, auto loans to drivers, commercial loans to businesses and other services, like insurance and investments.
Generations has made an incredible impact on our community. I hope ESL picks up where GB will leave off. Communities need this type of support and investment from their local financial institutions.

More than all that, the employees of Generations, present and past have volunteered countless hours to build homes, funded cancer research, walked for MS, supported SF Little League and participated in many other great causes for different organizations. They are to be commended and applauded! The change may be hard for them and I hope our community remembers their work and supports them in the transition with as much help as possible.

We had a great night at the Legacy Agency of the Finger Lakes offices last night.

Here are just a few of the questions we considered:

Has your business started a 401K? Do you have partners?
Do you plan to use the business as your retirement income some how?
