Folk It! - Artist Spotlight: Sweet Alibi

Hailing from Winnipeg, Manitoba, Western Canadian Music Award Winners Sweet Alibi have captivated audiences since 2009. Tom Power of CBC Radio 2 describes Sweet Alibi as, “If Mumford and Sons and the Supremes had a love child it would be named Sweet Alibi.” Blending soulful and powerful vocal harmonies paired with dynamic foot stomping energy, their latest release “Walking In The Dark” touches on the subjects of love, death and addiction. It once again features the very identifiable two lead vocals of Jess Rae Ayre and Amber Rose and is further complimented by Michelle Anderson’s third vocal harmony also on banjo and guitar.
