In 2013, I began a journey I thought would be straight.
But life had other lessons waiting for me.
I tried.
I failed.
And with that failure, I lost people I once called friends.
I watched my father get mocked because of my delay.
I carried shame that was never meant to be mine.

In 2015, I lost my mother, my biggest cheerleader.
Today, as I stand in this gown, my heart aches for the seat she should have occupied.
Mummy, I wish you were here to see your baby graduate😭
In 2019, when everything in me wanted to give up,
I chose to rise again.
Quietly.
Bruised.
But determined.
Years passed.
Tears were shed.
Prayers were whispered.
And today… here I am.

‘He makes all things beautiful in HIS time.’ — Ecclesiastes 3:11

Not in my time.
Not in their time.
In His time.

This degree is not just paper.
It is proof that delays are not denials.
That setbacks are not the end of the story.
That God can rewrite shame into testimony.
