There are few things more disappointing than to realize you’ve befriended a wolf in sheep’s clothing. Fake friends can be very hard to identify, but here are a few signs:

Is this person sweeter to you than they are to most other people - especially when they need something?
•
Is their mood toward you always fluctuating and inconsistent?
•
Do they apologize for things too much without sincerity or say mean things with an excuse of “that’s just how I am”!
•
Do they put themselves front and center while comparing you to other people?
•
Does the person give you backhanded compliments leaving you feeling unsettled after you’ve spent time with them?
•

Chyna originally sued the Kardashian family in 2017 over “accusations of assault, battery, domestic violence, defamation, and interference with prospective economic relations in regard to Rob & Chyna, her reality show with ex-fiancé Rob Kardashian, being canceled.” The family had their dismissal denied by the court in December 2020. That’s three years after the initial suit was filed! Chyna 10-day trial is expected in late October, but if the parties agree to mediate, they can start right away. 🤞

Mediation in the news! Four unnamed women of varying ages — 35, 38, 43, and 70 — filed a new lawsuit against Harvey Weinstein in New York State court two days ago alleging sexual harassment and assault. The women are working with mediators in a "claims resolution program" for alleged victims of Weinstein.

In addition to naming Weinstein, the plaintiffs included Robert Weinstein, Disney, and Miramax in their suit as well since Harvey was in their employment at the time and they were part of the coverup. Those are huge companies with very deep pockets. A jury convicted Weinstein of rape and sexual assault against two women, and a New York state judge sentenced him to 23 years in state prison in March 2020, plus his company for bankruptcy last year (and subsequently sold for $280M). A Delaware court approved a $17M settlement fund reserved from the bankruptcy to be split among all the victims. Super curious about your thoughts on this! Comment below or DM us.
