New year with lots of exciting, new adventures to come 🤍

It's birthday weekend in our house! Starky turned the big NINE on Sunday, and today Sybie turns TWO 🤍

These pups have the most wonderful relationship, and truly adore one another. As a dog owner, it's heartbreaking to begin to notice and admit that your dog is getting older and slowing down in some parts of their life. Starky definitely enjoys his rest and relaxation a bit more, but Sybil makes sure he isn't doing any slowing down on her watch. Stark has been an extremely happy boy these past couple years, and it's no coincidence that Sybie has played a huge part in that. These two will play, wrestle and play bitey face for (literally) hours and they've shown each other a great amount of respect, given each other confidence and shared a whole lot of joy with one another.

So thankful for these guys🤍

Fly away space buns 🌟🚀

My sweet, sweet Sybie is O N E today 🤍 This little lady has grown into the most wonderful, smart, mischievous and sweet Portie. She is everything I could have hoped for in a dog and as a little sister to Stark. I can't wait to see what the future holds for my baby dog🤍

First patio drinks of the season - many scritches were received, good boy and good girl status confirmed ✅

I can't wait to do all of the hiking, training, swimming and sporty things with these two this summer. Sybie and I did our introductory Dry Land Camp day today with the Portuguese Water Dog Club of Canada, with hopes of entering in some Water Work trials in the future. Little Lady really enjoyed the games, and we've got our homework to practice our foundations in the context of the water tasks.

How it started, how it's going 🤍

The little black hole puppy has become more photographic, and Stark has a new bestie.

If you'd have said that Stark and Sybil would have the relationship they do now, after only three months of her being home - I'd have said "no way, not that soon" - but here we are 🤍

These two have already figured out how to play and communicate with each other and I'm so beyond happy that Stark has welcomed this little bean and already loves her so much.

Both pups got a lot of smiles and attention, lots of great ignoring distractions (especially the Guelph squirrels iykyk) and some polite greetings with polite people 🤍

Little Sybie came along to experience from afar the sights and sounds of agility. This confident little bean is happy to sit and watch the world go by, whether it's her big bro fly over jumps and along the dog walk, or the neighborhood kids on their bikes. Socializing and exposure has been a lot of fun, especially knowing more and being more confident than I was with baby Stark
