Meet Curtis and Javier! They are two of our amazing local artists. Come see them perform this Saturday, October 7th, from 7-9pm at Tractor Brewing Wells Park.

Hailed by his son as “…ok”, Curtis Storm, tenor, is thrilled to be apart of a concert that gives him the freedom to finally achieve his dream of slamming back a couple pints while singing operatic literature that sometimes wanders into the obscure. Curtis has recently been seen in productions of The Flying Dutchman at The Santa Fe Opera, and the world premiere of Nathan Felix’s Glory Gone. Later this month he will partner with Felix again for the premiere of The Paños Prophecy. Additionally, Curtis can be regularly seen around Albuquerque and Santa Fe singing a mix of weirdly cool choral music that has been known to combine latin text and electric guitar, body percussion, and/or getting hit by a boomerang at least a couple times.

Javi's mom has a picture of him (though he's asked her to burn it a million times) at 5 in tighty whities, her hat, and his father's cowboy boots, holding a soda can as his mic while lip syncing to Whitney Houston. Explains a lot, hm? And here we are. Always a performer! Love ya! Peace.

Karah also teaches voice lessons in the Albuquerque area and is a stay-at-home mother to her 6 children – 2 human daughters, 1 human husband, and 3 dogs…
