And for supper, itβs beans, cornbread muffins, salmon patties and some kind of package noodle mix. ππππ§

Itβs going down tomorrow afternoon yβall! Roast, rainbow carrots and baby potatoes. We have plenty of fresh rosemary on the potatoes so Iβm thinking maybe I will make a cream sauce for them after church. π·π·π·πππ§

I took the bait yβall. I am not a fan of ready or pre made stuff but Iβm super curious, so here is what hopefully will be (tomorrow after church) a pumpkin cobbler. In a CROCKPOT!! π³π³
I did two cans of pumpkin puree, a can of evaporated milk, three eggs, vanilla and all the usual fall spices. I think I used cloves, ginger, cinnamon and nutmeg. Just put in what I like for my taste. Then on top is a stick of melted butter mixed with a spice cake mix. Like from a box.
Iβm gonna let it stay in the refrigerator tonight since we want it for tomorrow. I will set it out for about an hour in the morning so it can come up in temperature a little. Then into the crockpot cooker on low for at least 4 or up to 6 hours. Depending on how long it takes to set up.
We shall see. I have my doubts. ππππ§

Supper was blackened catfish topped with jalapeΓ±o queso, crawfish tails and pico de gallo. Served it it with some simple rice pilaf and green peas. Super good.

My little J, in all of his whole eight years is a pretty good baker. This is his monster cake with a gazillion eyes and crazy icing hair. I was proud of his work. He had a lot of fun. ππ
