Chimera Crab, a symbol for resilience. It embodies resilience through its physical and spiritual nature. Indeed the crab sheds its armour, much like a snake, to grow. They also regrow their limbs, regenerating lost claws, rebuilding themselves after trauma. Living between water and earth, they are masters of transition, moving sideways rather than confronting obstacles head on.

Spring is here and it’s time to open the doors of my new studio residency in Paris at .paris14 . I have been working on new pieces, got back into painting, exploring larger scale work and it’s the occasion to grab Archive pieces on sale especially for the occasion ! (Magical finds especially with the rise of precious metals…)

La Roche is an urban activist project, where over 40 artists and charities occupy temporarily a space. This time, it’s the old hospital La Rochefoucauld. This “Royal Health House” was founded in 1780 with the support of King Louis XVI. It was built by the architect Jacques-Denis Antoine, who also designed the Hôtel de la Monnaie. The building is great with a massive garden full of concerts, workshops and drinks for the day.

Doors open 12-9pm & Artists Studios 2-6pm

Whether you’ve been following the journey from the beginning or are just discovering it, I’d love to welcome you into this evolving world of materials, symbols, and transformation. Expect stones, bronze, wax, and maybe a few surprises hiding in drawers. Entry is free, curiosity encouraged.

10:10. Forged in a single night. Imposing door in carved wood with a unique silver handle. A detail, a focus, the Devil. The story goes… the Devil imitated by a would-be magician who would not cease invoking him, condemned the man to remain imprisoned within the door itself.

Drifting through Quadrilatero Romano. Secret passages appear between buildings, covered walkways, courtyards visible only through archways, creating a double city: public streets and semi-private corridors. Duality: public/private, sacred/profane, visible/hidden.

18:00. Torino. Devil’s eyes surrounding the Wishing tree. Made of wishbones, 1, 2, 66… in bronze.
The story goes : Through these infernal fissures, the initiated perceived, by illumination, the hidden seats of their gatherings. The eyes of the devil are said to watch from the ground, with candle lights illuminating secret passageways.

Again, an underground layered reality. These legends are sustained through oral tradition and reinforced by the square’s association with death: the ancient necropolis, the tunnel workers’ monument, its position at the western, sunset, death edge of the city. The architecture shifts here from eerie to something darker, more contained. Black magic’s ambiance: not menacing but strangely peaceful, as it the weight of the symbol settles movement.

Artist Residency at Casa Franca .a.r.a.h.v.a.l.e.n.t.e . When meeting Sarah, our practices, believes and research really echoed each other straight away. Like we were both meeting in the dreamtimes to create.
Designing the Spirit Jewelley Ritual and Shamanic Breathwork inside Casa Franca was following a flow with signs winking at me about all the synchronicities : Lab grown gems reflecting in the terrazzo under the uv … the library books revealing spells under my copper tarot deck.

Our collective events were really special and I can wait to see what we create next !

Guardians or silent executioners?

A house bound to an eternal curse, every architect who dares restore it meets an accidental death. Two lizards as door handles, trying to peak inside. According to local legend, the dragon’s placement protects against malevolent energies flowing from Piazza Statuto.

In its claws red and gold emerges, Jasper, Carnelian, the colours of the warrior. A treasure from another realm, a protective chest ornament waiting to be picked up for the next battle. A treasure, a trace.
