BarriGuiones

Costas Verdes is a non profit Association, created in 2008 with the general objective of helping to conservate and restore coastal disturbed ecosystems.

After three successful years in “+Hermosa”, it’s first project in Playa Hermosa, the Nosara Civic Association contacted Costas Verdes in 2011 to start and develop a new challenge, this time in Playa Guiones, which is part of Ostional National Wildlife Refuge. The project was named Barri-Guiones, a fussion of terms between Ceibo Barrigón, an emblematic tree species of the area, and Guiones, our beach.
