We have just checked airfares online from Auckland (AKL) to Apia Samoa (APW). There are flights under NZD 550 return even if you want to fly next week, in August or September. Its a good reason to leave the cold behind and goto Samoa and the hot tropical climate for a week or two.

We have been fortunate to host quite a number of families with children at Virgin Cove and one of the consistent comments from parents was that it is such a stunning and safe place for their children to explore and enjoy....as well as the parents of course! We take pride in welcoming you all to Virgin Cove and showing you what this beautiful piece of heaven has to offer...nature's simplicity in every way.

Talofa dear friends of Virgin Cove. Do forgive us for not being active on facebook and sharing our trials and tribulations post-cyclone Evan. For the past few months, we've been focusing on clearing, clearing and more clearing of debris and damages to buildings, trees, mangrove and the shoreline of Virgin Cove. And we're still not finished. We are just hoping that Mother Nature will work her magic. It's been challenging for our small team of dedicated staff as daily we go through clearing bit by bit the land, rebuild the fales and host our guests during the peak season. We are most grateful to all our guests who have stayed with us at Virgin Cove and we Thank You most sincerely...your stay with us has indeed helped in the employment of our village staff whose livelihoods have been severely impacted upon since the cyclone. Ia Manuia!

We are happy to announce that our new manager Zita Martel starts today at Virgin Cove.

Remember we have the 20% special in march and april. Use it and come and stay during Easter

Our Restaurant is open for our inhouse guests. So we do not have the 40% anylonger. But we will have a 20% discount on accommodation in March and April.

We are open again from today. 5 Fales, 1 Garden Bungalow and 1Beach Bungalow are ready. The restaurant is not yet open. So guests need to bring own food and can cook in our kitchen. No daily cleaning at the moment. Some fales will have tarpaulins on roof. We have 40% discount as long restaurant is closed. We will post updates when we will open restaurant again.

We will continue our cleaning after the devastating cyclone. We are trying to repair and rebuild what we can with very limited funds. We are hoping to be able to reopen in a small scale in easter week.

Lot of bungalows and fales destroyed. Most of beach villa is down. Only one bedroom standing. One beach bungalow is down. The other standing but damaged. Most fales damaged. New kitchen and office ok. Restaurant roof damaged.

The cyclone Evan went straight over Samoa. Our guests and staff are safe. But the resort is severe damaged. We will be closed to at least 31st March.
