Here'r some photage from our little trip to the orphanage and nursing home.
This place was founded by monk in 1992.
Orphans and old ppl live here, who have no family members, those who were abandoned, or they'v got a mental illness. The moment when we went there, children were at school. And only those who don't go there or have a mental illness stay there.
Unfortunately, they almost don't receive any medical help or help from the government.

We wanna thank everyone for suuport, for ur contribution. We will continue our little charity, and u can always join us if u want ♥️

Our Ararat team is engaged in charity work🇻🇳 🇦🇲

🔸Our charity project started more than 2 months ago.
🔸We help people in need every day.
🔸We send to hospitals, we also deliver food on the street.

❗️From 08/10/2021 to 10/19/2021 our team sent for the needy, the poor, doctors and patients:

▫️ 14.300 servings of food
▫️1.950kg of rice
▫️ more than 3.000 kg of vegetables
▫️ 1500 cans of canned fish
▫️600 moon cakes for Moon Festival
▫️300kg whole meat
▫️ 150kg of coffee and tea
▫️ 20kg of clothes

As a result, we have helped over 6,700 families, which is approximately 18,000 people💪🏽

And almost every day we supplied the doctors of the Hospital No.8, 100-150 servings a day, in total we helped the doctors in 2 months and sent Food for 7000 servings.

Hello everyone, long time no see👋🏽

Since yesterday, the Thao Dien People's Committee has officially allowed the Ararat Restaurant & Messo Lounge for volunteering .
Our achievements in the last couple days:

- 07.08.2021
We gave 17kg of coffee ☕️

- 10.08.2021
Our team has prepared over 150 portions of food for those in need 🍱

We are working with the Thao Dien People's Committee Ủy ban nhân dân phường Thảo Điền and the Ward 17 People's Committee to help people in need in the barricaded areas.

Helping people we feel how we can influence on the situation and provide the necessary help at least to some extent.
After all, many of us went through certain difficulties!

During the recent quarantine period, we stayed at home for a very long time and now we are ready to work, to help people.

At the moment we are preparing food, 3 times a week, 100-150 portions a day!
And we plan to increase the amount of our assistance.

Basturma is a national dish of Armenian cuisine. Today it can only be found in the most expensive deli shops.

Spices give a special taste to basturma, as well as the fact that it is dried in the sun for a month or more. Now basturma is considered an expensive delicacy, although in the old days it was only a way to preserve meat reserves without a refrigerator.

Basturma is a traditional nomad dish. Initially, horse meat was the main raw material for basturma among nomadic peoples. To preserve the taste and quality of the meat, it was abundantly sprinkled with sea salt and hidden in canvas bags.

These bags were hung on both sides of the saddle. When the rider got on the horse, he pressed down the meat with his feet, making it flat. After some time, the meat began to be additionally sprinkled with herbs and spices.

For the first time, puff pastries with cheese began to bake in the Middle Ages, in the mountain villages of the East. Since then, the dish has become widespread, they baked khachapuri according to their own recipes, pouring an egg over the cheese or changing the shape - from a square to a large circle. Armenian bakers are sure that the secret of delicious khachapuri is not to mix bread with water, milk and yeast, it takes skillful hands and a warm heart.

For Khachapuri, take ordinary yeast dough, suluguni cheese or a mixture of feta and mozzarella cheeses, and one egg for each serving.

The main rule of real khachapuri is the same amount of airy, tender dough and fresh cheese. However, if there is more cheese than bread, then tortillas will only benefit.

A special cult in Armenian cuisine is occupied by meat dishes. The famous meat dish is shashlik🥩 (in Armenian “khorovats”). Before frying, the meat is marinated - each in its own sauce: cognac, wine, so that the pieces are fried at the same time. It is the addition of these sauces and spices that gives the Armenian kebab a unique taste.
