Congratulations to the KATS CIT’s and Alumni…Sara, Ka’Ori, Malia and Jeremiah!

This past weekend, Necker Island hosted the debrief for our KATS instructors and CITs. We had an incredible time, ​feeding ​the lemurs and kangaroos, and ​enjoying a wonderful “Sunday Roast,” but also holding our debrief in the inspiring room dedicated to The Elders.

The Elders is an initiative founded by Nelson Mandela, Sir Richard Branson, Peter Gabriel, and other global leaders, ​and is dedicated to working towards peace, justice, human rights, and a sustainable planet. It was a truly powerful experience to be in that space, witnessing our instructors and CITs actively shaping the future of the KATS program.

Our Assistant Program Director, Bjon Smith, emphasized that Necker Island hosting our debrief was a valuable investment in the future of our youth.

We extend our sincere gratitude to Sir Richard, James, Charlie, and the entire Necker team for their invaluable time and ongoing support of the KATS program.

So wonderful to see some of our alumni KATS students taking part in the regatta!

🚨REMINDER 🚨From Royal BVI Yacht Club…We’re excited to remind you about Junior Regatta on Saturday, 6th September ⛵️

A fun and relaxed event designed especially for those who are new to sailing or curious about trying out racing in a supportive environment.
Whether you’ve just started learning or want to dip your toe into the world of racing, this is the perfect opportunity to get involved and enjoy some time on the water! We would love to see as many taking part as possible!

⏰Time: Racing will run from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM?
📍Where: Nanny Cay
🚣🏿‍♂️Who: Open to all – especially those who attended after-school classes, camps, KATS or have never raced before! We’ll be as accommodating as possible to ensure everyone feels comfortable and included.
