On October 22, 2022, Krzysztof Filipiak, rector of Maria Sklodowska-Curie Medical Academy in Warsaw and D.Abdullayeva, Head of the Representative Office of the JSC “ADAMED PHARMA S.A.” (Poland) in the Republic of Uzbekistan visited Urgench branch of Tashkent Medical Academy.

Representatives of the delegation were warmly welcomed by the administration of the branch and an official meeting was held within the framework of cooperation.

According to this decision, full-time family doctors in primary medical and sanitary care institutions will be offered to undergraduate students of "Treatment work", "Pediatrics work" and "Medical-preventive work" undergraduate courses of all medical higher education institutions on the basis of an employment contract. , it is possible for a doctor to work in emergency medical facilities and the vacant positions of a doctor in the district (city) department of the sanitary-epidemiological peace and public health service, to help them gain experience by applying the knowledge gained in the course of theoretical education. said that it will lead to the formation of a new education system based on world standards.
At the same time, the need for doctors and deficiencies in the training of deaf people were noted.

🇬🇧 URGENCH BRANCH OF TASHKENT MEDICAL ACADEMY CELEBRATES 30 YEARS OF ESTABLISHMENT

On September 29-30, 2022, an international scientific and practical conference on the topic “Problems and prospects of mini-invasive technologies in medicine” was held, dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the establishment of Urgench branch of Tashkent Medical Academy.

The ceremonial event dedicated to the opening ceremony of the conference was organized in the musical drama theater of Khorezm region, and the practical part was organized in the building of Urgench branch of TMA.

The conference was attended by guests, scientists from the Russian Federation, Kyrgyzstan, Ukraine, Switzerland, Turkey, Pakistan, advanced scientists and experienced experts from all regions of our Republic and the Republic of Karakalpakstan.

Branch director R.Y. Ruzibayev opened the solemn event dedicated to the opening ceremony of the conference with an introduction and spoke briefly about the history of the branch. Then he sincerely congratulated the participants of the international scientific and practical conference, guests, professors and teachers and the staff on the 30th anniversary of the branch and wished success to the work of the conference.

After that, the guests expressed congratulatory words on the occasion of the conference and the 30th anniversary of the establishment of the branch.

In the artistic part of the event, dedicated to the opening ceremony of the conference, stage performances of the students of the branch performed, and the performances of our favorite artists gave a special charm to the holiday.

The main directions of the conference are “Actual problems of the use of mini-invasive technologies in surgery”, “Problems and prospects of the use of mini-invasive technologies in other fields of surgery (otolaryngology, ophthalmology, traumatology and orthopedics, neurosurgery, urology, etc.”), “Diagnostics of oncological patients and effectiveness of mini-invasive technologies in treatment”, “Problems and prospects of the use of mini-invasive technologies in obstetrics and gynecology” and various issues of medicine.

Today, mini-invasive technologies have entered all fields of medicine. Even so, new ways of using mini-invasive technologies in diagnostic and treatment practice are being created. The goal of this conference is to share experience in this field and bring it to practicing doctors.

Along with scientists and doctors, young scientists, clinical residents, and masters also participated in the international conference. Along with prominent scientists of our Republic, visiting scientists from the Russian Federation, Turkey, Kyrgyzstan and other countries participated in the conference with their lectures in 3 branches.

For information, currently 12 doctors of science, 104 candidates of science are working at the branch, the scientific potential is 42.4%. To date, 3,946 bachelors in 9 majors have graduated from the branch. 1560 clinical residents have graduated in 35 specialties and are working in medical practice and at the branch. Today,
5 doctors of science and more than 30 candidates of science have graduated from the branch.

🇺🇿 Cooperation will be established between CHA University of the Republic of Korea and TTA Urganch branch

Fundamental reforms and changes are being implemented in every field and system in the context of building a new Uzbekistan. In particular, the Urganch branch of the Tashkent Medical Academy has established cooperation with a number of foreign countries in the fields of education and medicine, and the existing cooperation relations are being expanded.

The next meeting within the framework of cooperation will be held on September 18, 2022 by the dean of the Faculty of "Medicine" of CHA University of the Republic of Korea, professor Kim Jong Woo and Ms. Serena Chang, and the director of TTA Urganch branch R.Y. Ruzibayev, Deputy Director for International Cooperation D.Y. Botirov, faculty and hospital surgery department teacher Z.Z. Umarov and press secretary S.R. On this day, the guests took part in the ceremonial event dedicated to the awarding of diplomas of foreign MBBS graduates of the 2021/2022 academic year held at the branch, and got acquainted with the work within the spiritual and educational system of the branch.

THE FIRST FOREIGN GRADUATES FROM INDIA AND PAKISTAN WERE AWARDED DIPLOMAS

As you know, more than 600 students from countries such as India, Pakistan, Turkmenistan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan, USA, Saudi Arabia, Afghanistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh are studying at the Urganch branch of TTA.

On September 16, 2022, among these foreign students, the first 9 students from India and Pakistan received a diploma in the field of treatment.

A solemn ceremony dedicated to the presentation of diplomas of foreign graduates of the 2021/2022 academic year was organized.
It was attended by branch managers, professors, foreign and local students, as well as the dean of the "Medicine" faculty of CHA University of the Republic of Korea, Professor Kim Jong Woo and Serena Chang.

At the opening of the event, TTA Urganch branch director R.Y. In his opening speech, Ruzibayev emphasized that the first graduates from foreign countries are entering a big life, and expressed confidence that each of them will make their proper contribution to the development of medicine, regardless of where they are.

The director of the branch R.Yu. Ruzibaev opened with an introductory speech and briefly introduced the professors, teachers, students, clinical residents and masters gathered in the hall with the life and scientific activities of Jafarov Murod Mirzokhidovich.

The lecture was mainly devoted to the importance of plastic surgery in congenital defects of the otorhinolaryngological organs. During the lecture, a complete understanding of the reconstructive and aesthetic operations on the ear, lip, palate and nose, carried out today in Uzbekistan, was given. It was emphasized that the efficiency of the operations performed in our country is not inferior to that of countries with developed medicine, such as South Korea, France, and the USA. In order to motivate the audience, the speaker spoke about his experience in more than 80 countries of the world and his membership in many foundations due to local and foreign grants.

The lecture ended with a lively question and answer session by professors and students. After that, the director of the branch thanks to Jafarov Murad Mirzokhidovich for his visit and interesting lecture.

🇬🇧 A GROUP OF STUDENTS FROM URGENCH BRANCH OF TMA LEFT FOR AN INTERNSHIP AT THE ISTANBUL UNIVERSITY OF THE REPUBLIC OF TURKEY

Earlier, we informed that on May 17, 2022, a delegation consisting of the director of Urgench branch of TMA R.Yu. Ruzibaev, Deputy Director for International Cooperation D.Yu. Batirov and legal consultant G.P. Nurullayev visited the Istanbul University of the Republic of Turkey and reached an agreement with the leadership of Istanbul University on cooperation between the two higher education institutions in the framework of teacher and student exchange programs, joint research, grant projects, training, internships, master’s and doctoral studies.

On the basis of this agreement, a group of students from Urgench branch of TMA left today, August 12, for an internship at the Faculty of Medicine at Istanbul University.

Bobojanova. Uzbekistan is a multinational, friendly country. Representatives of more than 130 nationalities and peoples live peacefully in our country. There are more than 140 national cultural centers and 36 friendship societies in our country. In state educational institutions of the republic, education is conducted in 7 languages, the national television and radio company of Uzbekistan broadcasts its programs in 12 languages, print media are published in 10 languages.

At the same time, in Urganch branch of TMA, along with Uzbeks, Kazakh, Ukrainian, Turkmen, Ossetian, Russian professors-teachers and workers are working together as a united team. Also, about 3,000 students of Arab, Afghan, Kazakh, Kyrgyz, Russian, Tajik, Turkmen, Tatar, Indian, Urdu, Uzbek nationalities study at the branch.

In addition, more than 600 students from countries such as India, Pakistan, Turkmenistan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan, USA, Saudi Arabia, Tanzania, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh study at the branch.

On the occasion of the International Day of Friendship, personally and on behalf of the administration of Urganch branch of TMA, I sincerely congratulate all Uzbeks and representatives of different nationalities living in our country, as well as the representatives of different nationalities and countries who are spending their lives in friendship and tolerance at Urganch branch of TMA.
