As per the Presidential Edict of January 22, 2018, Uzbekistan has adopted the State Program for implementation of the Strategy of development for 2017-2021. Among other the Program includes:

The Central Bank of Uzbekistan issued Decree on Nov 11, 2017 on the payment of dividends in hard currency. The companies are entitled to pay dividends in hard currency to their shareholders (natural and legal persons) without any limitations. For dividend distribution, the clients shall simply submit to the banks a copy of decision to dividend distribution.

Following to the yesterday’s meeting of the Prime Minister A.Aripov with BM of Siemens AG Roland Bush, the German giant will participate in development of the Uzbek economic sectors like energy, industrial, railway and health. For example, Siemens will introduce Smart Grid technologies for the policy of Safe City, will develop the servicing centre with the Uzbek National Oil and Gas company, will participate in equipping of health clinics.

According to the Uzbek Ministry of Foreign Trade, McDonald Corp is considering entery to the Uzbek market

More than 100 US companies jointly with the American-Uzbek Chamber of Commerce have participated at the Uzbek-American business forum. The conference was headed by the Chairman of AUCC Carolyn Lamm and the Uzbek minister on investments Azim Akhmekhodjaev.

Сенат Олий Мажлиса Узбекистана на 11-м пленарном заседании в четверг одобрил закон «Об Уполномоченном при Президенте Республики Узбекистан по защите прав и законных интересов субъектов предпринимательства»

Закон определяет основные задачи уполномоченного: участие в реализации государственной политики в области предпринимательства, защита прав и интересов предпринимателей, оказание им правовой поддержки, оценка эффективности воздействия принятых актов на развитие предпринимательской деятельности, подготовка предложений по совершенствованию законодательства в этой сфере.

C 2018 года планируется внедрить процедуру банкротства для индивидуальных предпринимателей.

Институт дознания исключен из уголовно-процессуального законодательства как дублирующий институт доследственной проверки.
