Good evening, y'all! I'm introducing a new product using my new "shelter at home" hobby:
Tic tac toe games.
Hand painted canvas bags with hand painted pebble game pieces. My granddaughters are crazy about them and it is all I can do to keep them from taking one set (or more) home with them! I have 4 sets completed with more designs planned (as soon as I collect some more suitable sized pebbles): puppy/kitty, bumble bees/flowers, flamingo/hearts, and blue/red ladybugs. Pictured is the bumble bee/flower design. I will have these along with my "critters" for sale in upcoming shows in September or call, email, or message me for special orders.

Modeling my new bucket hat with face shield . Decided to use this method of face covering for upcoming shows, since my glasses fog up and fall off when I wear a mask.

Hello everyone on this beautiful summer evening! With all this extra time I've had due to "social distancing", "sheltering at home" and cancelled shows, I've decided to take up a new hobby: rock painting! It's been really fun and has gotten me outside digging up small and larger rocks all around my house, my son's house and any stream I can get to. My granddaughters have had a blast helping Mimi find suitable rocks and pebbles to paint. So, I'm posting some pics of what I've painted this far. They will be available for purchase at upcoming shows starting in September. Prices will vary depending upon size and subject matter.

Good evening everyone! Just wanted to show a little preview of my line of samplers. A sampler is basically an embroidered picture using a variety of stitches. Originally, young ladies created samplers to showcase their needlework abilities to prospective husbands and usually included the alphabet and a Biblical quote. The windmills are done in a style called "red work". The red work done by our ancestors was sewn in red thread, but now all colors of thread are used. They are still called red work, but the individual pieces are labeled using the color of thread. For example, my pieces would be called "blue red work", "yellow red work", and "grey red work". These pieces along with others (I hope) will be for sale in my booth in the upcoming shows in September. The price is $65 each or, for the lighthouses, $175 for all three. Sizes: Lighthouses are 8x10 and the Little Seamstress is 11x14.

Ok, I'm a little late in posting this: the Made in Georgia show has been postponed until Sept. 12-13

A bit of good news this morning: The Made in Georgia Festival will take place June 27-28! A few more precautions will be taken to ensure everyone's safety. So everyone come out and enjoy the festivities!!🤸🤸🎉🎊

FYI: The Mountain Crafters Festival in Murphy, NC has been cancelled for this year due to concerns about covid-19. It was originally scheduled for October.
