As part of Downtown Inc’s mission to keep Downtown York beautiful and litter-free, we’re excited to announce the delivery of 5 new cigarette receptacles throughout Downtown York! It's Kindness Week this week, and students from York Academy Regional Charter School Visual Arts have been hard at work creating Kindness Murals right on their sidewalk. Their beautiful artwork and positive energy have already inspired others—just the other day, a customer from Central Family Restaurant surprised them with hot chocolate!
Thanks to the support of the Cultural Alliance of York County, York County Community Foundation, and the dedication of staff, students have been meeting every weekend to bring these murals to life. Together, they're building a “Kindness Corner” in front of the Upper School, set to be finished just in time for Kindness Week .
