June is Men’s Mental Health Month 🧠
Men’s mental health matters, including our veterans.
Nearly 1 in 10 men experience depression, yet many never seek help due to stigma and pressure to “stay strong.” Veterans are especially impacted by PTSD, depression, and substance use challenges.
💡 1 in 3 veterans seeking SUD treatment also have PTSD.
💡 Male veterans face significantly higher su***de rates than civilians.
Visit NAMI.org/mensmentalhealth to learn how you or someone you know can recognize the signs, find support, and take the first steps toward mental wellness.
Seeking help is strength. Recovery starts with conversation and support.
