ASSISTments
Assign Online. Enhance math curricula with data for teachers & immediate feedback for students
ASSISTments is a free, web-based platform and non-profit organization, developed at Worcester Polytechnic Institute, that makes homework and classwork more effective. The platform assists students with their homework and classroom through immediate feedback, while helping teachers assess where to focus class time. The flexibility of the program allows teachers to use common curricula and textbooks
Today, we celebrate the educators who make learning possible every single day. Thank you for your dedication and commitment to helping every student succeed.
Happy Teacher Appreciation Day from all of us at ASSISTments! 🍎

In 2019, ASSISTments received a federal Education Innovation and Research (EIR) grant from the U.S. Department of Education to scale evidence-based math support in rural schools. In partnership with WestEd and Lesley University, we designed and studied a virtual professional learning model reaching teachers across 24 states. The strongest gains were seen among students who began the year below grade level—and teachers reported meaningful shifts in how they used data to inform instruction.
Now that the project is complete and reports are publicly available, we’re sharing what we learned about scaling impact in rural communities.
