Fun Cheap or Free New England

Seriously, as a parent…. Going out in the snow is a serious commitment, and quite frankly risky. You invest a great deal of time outfitting, and preparing this kids to venture out into the New England tundra. It’s a total gamble. Will someone get dressed to only say they now have to go p*e? Will someone just p*e anyways? How long will they stay out there for? How will this end? 😂 Send me south! If we had longer hotter summers I would appreciate that!

Someone let me know when it’s time for sun and sand. This bear is in hibernation mode til spring.

The Dinosaur Place.
Oakdale, Connecticut. FUN. Unfortunately due to High Ticket Prices and Overall Value we can’t justify a return to The Dinosaur Place. Here at FCOFNE we give honest reviews of the places we visit. We too are parents. How we spend money matters. We want the best value always. In my opinion, The Dinosaur Place didn’t offer a good value for family fun. Have Questions? Drop your comments and questions below. If it’s somewhere you want to visit here’s some tips to make your trip easier. You need socks for the enclosed play structure and Water Shoes must be worn in the splash pad area. There is a concession stand that sells food, but you know me… pack a lunch!

Discovery Museum. Acton, Massachusetts. FUN! We used a local library pass and our tickets were 1/2 price. If your not using your local library passes get on it! Did you know that many libraries “in network” allow you to borrow there passes too? Save yourself some cash and enjoy the day! England

Hanson’s Farm. Framingham, Massachusetts. FUN! It’s Fall Y’all and it’s time to pick yourself some pumpkins! Adult tickets $20- Receive a FREE pumpkin with your admission. 5 and under FREE . Kids tickets $12. Visit on a weekend and enjoy hayrides, cider donuts and IceCream. Fun in Framingham!

Attention Beach Bums (that’s me 😊) Colonial Acres Beach. West Yarmouth, Massachusetts. FREE! Yes. Free Cape Cod Beach Parking. Get here early to get a spot. The boardwalk goes right from the parking lot to the beach. This is a great beach for families. A little rocky but paths go right to the warm clear water. girl
