We ended up selling the house and five acres the house sits on which includes the pole barn and most important the driveway. So at this time we are not selling Christmas Trees. In the future we might start up again but we have some work (driveway, pole barn etc) that needs to be completed before we can sell again. It has been a very tough decision on our family since we have been doing cut your own Christmas Trees for over 20 years. The biggest thing we are going to miss is all the great families we have been lucky enough to met and get to know.

In the future if we decide to start selling Christmas Trees we will let you know. Wishing you all the happiest of Holidays!!

One week away. Did you know...

McHenry County harvests more Christmas trees than anywhere else in the state, according to the U.S. Department of Agriculture.

It's hard to believe but yes less then three weeks until opening day for the 2015 Christmas Tree Season. Our first day open will be the Friday after Thanksgiving November 27th!

Crystal Lake area stable fire likely killed 32 horses

Very sad news to our neighbors Valley View Acres. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the Bauman family and anyone effected by this tragic event.

nwherald.com Tyson and Amber Bauman stood in the mist and rain Sunday morning as firefighters monitored the still smoldering stables where fire officials believe as many as 32 horses died in an overnight blaze.

Hard to believe it but only 10 more days until we will be open for the 2014 Christmas Tree season. Friday November 28th will be our first day open.

With the snow falling it is a great day to come out and pick out your Christmas Tree!!

We have officially opened for the 2013 Christmas Tree Season!!

Well it is officially one week until Christmas Tree Season starts. We are very excited for this year, as we have a great selection for everyone. This year all cut your own trees will run $50, plus we have some great looking pre-cut Fraser Fir and Balsam Fir which will be priced per foot. In addition we have Fraser Wreaths and Balsam Roping. Saws will be provided and once you find that "one" tree we will provided free shaking and bailing. Last but not least FREE hot drinks after all your hard work.
