Famous Rusbal Red Pointe Shoes! Made originally years ago in Moscow. I know them every inch and millimeter and the Russian Shoemakers I remember. They are now in NYC Museum of Pointe Shoe dancers. I have six pair left but can't part with. Ooh La La!

Our Story

THE SYLVIA CUSTOM FITTING METHOD! At age 11, I was approved to go up on Pointe. I attended the Noel School of Dance in Chicago, trained from Age 3 by Studio Owner and Artistic Director, Madame Jeanette Noel. Born and living in Europe, she danced at the Brussels Ballet. As her Star began to rise the time arrived and she was named the Royal Prima for the Brussels Opera Ballet! As time moves by, she and her family began the immigration process to leave France and arrive in America. Settling in Chicago, she opened up her Ballet Studio to train students to train in the French and Vaganova Methods. Adding many genres of classes, As she grows her studio she focused on Ballet, Acrobatics, Character Training and Pointework. With her dedication, she prepared students to move forward to perform and audition.

Training for 17 years in the Noel School of Dance, I received strong training for dancing En Pointe. Strength in body and feet from Vaganova to step up to her challenge. Flexibility and character prepared me to perform on stage! Always the performing was my favorite!

Building on a life of training and performing on pointe, I became a “cautious” ballerina to remember my safety and prevent debilitating injuries for myself! Injuries, if not careful, I would try NOT to become a liability as I performed toward my assets! Performing was the “BREAD” of my life!

With this happiness in one hand, I now offer my other hand to you! As I open up my Heart and Fitting Studio to visit with me, I share important blessings of safety to all dancers! I am Consultation and Evaluation CUSTOM POINTE SHOE FITTER! Sharing my Artistic Fitting Talents, I can move the Dancer from the Newbie Level, while educating and utilizing my experience as a Dancer, my CUSTOM FITTINGS become the Best Answer to a Successful and safe Dance Career! When I assist a Dancer to understand how to MARKET her talents, she BECOMES VALUABLE to AMAZING ARTISTIC DIRECTORS! Blessings to all, we are from the same DANCE VILLAGE!
