A neighbor had a litter of kittens yesterday. We will be helping them get the parents fixed but would also like to find responsible adopters for the babies when they are the appropriate age. 🐈🐈🐈

We need to find a home for Simba. He is a small, male pit, about 9 years old with a heart of gold. A sister rescue has had him kenneled for years to keep him from being destroyed. His family dumped him due to divorce. He needs a fenced yard to run, but is easy to care for.

Henrico County unanimously approved the creation of an animal cruelty registry Tuesday, becoming the second locality in Central Virginia to establish a public database tracking people convicted of serious crimes against animals.
