In May, C2 attended long-time partner Youth For Tomorrow's "Burgundy & Gold Banquet"!
🏈 One of the highlights: Former Head Coach for the 2007 Super Bowl Champion Indianapolis Colts, Tony Dungy discussed his views on Faith and Family. We also enjoyed hearing from Youth For Tomorrow alumni as well as a lovely auction.

The Evolution of Front-End Animation, pt. 2.
Subtlety Beats Spectacle
The web learned a hard lesson from the era of overloaded animation, and the best developers took it seriously.
Today's strongest front-end teams treat animation as part of a larger user experience system, not a visual flourish. A clean fade-in creates a measurably more polished experience than text appearing hard on screen. SVG-based animations stay crisp across every screen size and resolution without the performance overhead of older formats like GIFs. Tools like GreenSock give developers precise, browser-consistent motion control: a search bar expands fluidly, a product grid reorganizes smoothly, and interface components reposition without jarring jumps. And because the majority of users are on their phones, every one of these effects is built mobile-first.
The result is what the industry now calls "Easter egg" interactions: small, delightful moments users discover naturally while navigating a site. Nothing overwhelming. Nothing competing with the message. Just motion that reduces cognitive friction, guides attention, and quietly reinforces brand credibility at every turn.
Subtlety doesn't mean invisible, it means intentional, and that's what converts.
The trickle-down effect on how users experience your brand is huge. See the full article here: https://creative2.com/evolution-of-front-end-animation/

The Evolution of Front-End Animation, pt. 1.
The Web Has Come a Long Way
From table layouts to parallax scrolling to SVG animation, the web's journey has been anything but linear, and the distance traveled is remarkable.
It started with rigid, table-based layouts that were functional but visually limited. Then CSS matured, JavaScript emerged, and suddenly developers had the tools to make websites move. Parallax scrolling created depth and storytelling. Scroll-triggered animations, hover effects, and motion-based navigation followed. Brands wanted websites that felt clean, interactive, and memorable, and the industry delivered.
Then it overcorrected. Sites became overloaded with animation. Too much movement slowed performance, hurt usability, and distracted users from core conversion goals. The web had come a long way, but it was veering off course.
Today, the pendulum has swung back. The best front-end experiences now prioritize restraint, mobile-first performance, and motion that serves the user rather than showboating for them. Users make engagement decisions within three to ten seconds of landing on a page. Knowing that changes how good front-end work gets built.

5 Things We're Building Right Now 🔥
No fluff. Here's what's on our plate in real time:
1. A first-of-its-kind AI-driven STEM education platform — because the way students learn science and tech is overdue for a serious upgrade.
2. Helping non-profits stop leaving tech on the table — smarter tools, bigger reach, more donors.
3. Putting mission-critical technology in the hands of law enforcement to help stop child abductions before they happen. Full stop.
4. Fixing how enterprise teams function from the inside-out— less noise, more signal, faster ex*****on.
5. Getting in rooms with other agency leaders to talk about what's working and what's not. A rising tide lifts all boats.
This is the work. And we're fired up about all of it.
