TechOptics is currently seeking entry level low voltage helpers for multiple projects in the Winder, Gainesville, and Cu***ng areas. These are short to long term projects with the opportunity to be hired on full time after the project completion.

Job Responsibilities are (but not limited to):
Pulling and terminating twisted pair data cable (Cat6, Cat6A) in commercial environments.
General labor - moving job materials between areas on the job site, cleaning up, etc

Must have transportation to our office in Winder.

Pay is based on experience.

We are now hiring for a Computer / Network Support Technician:

Main responsibility is to provide technical support to the computer and network operations. This includes initially receiving service requests from users either online or by telephone and diagnosing and repairing the problem until it is resolved. It also involves updating the ticketing system by creating a service order and entering the details of the incident such as the customer name, the application/program affected, the root cause of the incident, etc. This job requires excellent analytical and communication skills, ability to multi-task due to simultaneous service requests in some instances, high tolerance to stress and agility in a fast-paced environment. They work in both an office environment and at customer sites; therefore a good driving history is required. They interact mostly with computer systems and users.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

-Answer, evaluate, and prioritize incoming telephone, voicemail, e-mail, and in person requests for assistance from users experiencing technical problems.
-Respond to technical issues as they arise.
-Provide continuous status information/service order updates to ensure customer satisfaction.
-Initiate customer contact, escalate to appropriate parties and resolve incidents.

Cable installers/technicians: Experience desired but not necessary in the installation of structured cabling systems. Permanent and temporary positions available.

Low Voltage Technician - Requirements: Minimum of 5years experience. Installation of a variety of low-voltage systems, including fire alarm, intrusion detection, access control, CCTV, audio-visual, paging, Structured Cabling, Fiber Optics, Video Surveillance Systems, Network Systems, Wireless Systems, VOIP

All applicants must pass a pre-employment drug screen and have a clean DMV report.
