And a couple days pickin since I got home off the road
Now that I have your attention

Just got back to Memphis yesterday from Jammin At Hippie Jacks
It rained A Lot but kinda sunny on Saturday when I played
Only when I did rain songs did it sprinkle a little shower (of course it did)
But man it rained all night Saturday
as we hunkered down under the tarps playing music eating amazing food and drinking many beers standing in a couple inches of water
Good times
We had to evacuate the campground at Scrappy Town on Sunday
It was a mud fest and lots of people got stuck Our group ended up camped out in the Sanctuary (of course we did)
I slept on a pew
Saturday was broadcast live on WCTE PBS It is archived on their website and featured myself Grayson Capps and Paul Thorn
And about the time I was getting offstage our new granddaughter Daisy Josephine was born (of course she did)
I get to meet her today and I’ve already started a song about her
I have shows again in East Tennessee next week but Thursday May 28th I’ll be solo at Murphy’s on Madison 6:00
