Here are a few helpful tips to help your pet with the loud noises.
*If your pet is please make sure your contact info is up to date. If your pet is not chipped, this is a perfect opportunity to get that checked off your to do list.
*Many pets are scared of fireworks and thier anxiety and stress levels are higher than normal. Please call and schedule an appointment with your to discuss medications that can help. There are also CBD products out there specifically for pets. Please discuss this with your vet to see if this would be a good option for your furbaby.
*turn on music or a TV show and or have a fan on high near thier bed to help drown out the noise.
*I always recommend taking an extra walk or playtime in the evening before the sun goes down, this will help them get rid of that last bit of energy and a potty break before the festivities start.

Please remember Firework safety.
If your pet is not microchipped, schedule an appointment tomorrow with your vet!
If your pet has anxiety during this time of year, talk with your veterinarian about medications that can help keep your pet calm.

It was a chilly morning but we love our pet charges ♡ Sophie and Macie said it is just plain disrespectful outside!
It was 2 degrees colder when we went outside, lol

Please bring your pets in and for those that must be outside, Please make a shelter they can go to and get out of this weather.

BITTER COLD MORNING: We're expecting some of the coldest temperatures we've seen since the Feb. 2021 winter storm! We'll be BONE DRY so no ice but it will be COLD, WINDY and feeling like near ZERO when you open that door! 🥶🥶

Winter is coming. Now is the time to start making plans.
This weekend it will be below freezing and that is too cold for outside pets to be outside. Please bring them in, especially over night. If you need a crate so you can safely bring your outdoor pet in, the shelter has some we would love you to use.
