Hi, we are hoping you might be able to help us. To kick off Summer Reading, the Williamston Branch of Capital Area District Library is hosting a Touch-a-Truck event for families on Saturday, June 3rd from 10-11:30, and we are a bit short on vehicles for our event. If you have a truck or cool car and are willing to volunteer on that day, please contact the library at 517-655-1191. We would love to have you!

Thanks to everyone that made it out for our first cruise in of the year! This Thursday is looking even better for weather!

Join us downtown Williamston this Thursday and every Thursday all summer from 5-9 ish. Casual drop in and drop out. All makes and models welcome and encouraged, share some stories, ask questions and get/give advice to the next generation.

A new year Williamston Cruise-in t shirt is in the works and will be available soon at Cliff Hart: Allstate Insurance downtown next to the Sun Theatre Williamston, until then stop in to pick up any left over free shirts from last year

Williamston Roadhouse1 is always a great spot to drop in for dinner and a drink.

It’s finally here! Today is the first cruise-in or the year! Can’t wait to see everyone and their rides!

What were your winter projects? Will they be at the cruise-in this summer?

A few of ours were:

1970 383 Plymouth Cuda on the rotisserie with my 16 year old son. She will be plum crazy in the next few weeks, if we spend some long nights she may make an appearance late summer and he will have it for his senior year.

1978 Dodge D100 with my 26 year old son, a project we have been steadily improving since he was 15. Finally painted slate gray metallic like my 1971 Road Runner in high school. She’s being reassembled and should be cruising soon

1954 Ford F100, the only ford currently in my barn, my wife wanted to have her own cruiser and she wanted a 50’s ford truck so we are building something sweet. You will love the green she chose. We expect her to make a mid summer appearance

Yesterday was a beautiful Thursday to have the toys out, okay now the next 5 days of rain, but next Thursday looks great again so that’s a sign!
