The roller crimper terminates the cover crop mechanically. The advantage of this is moving away from chemicals, potential cost-savings, and to enable sunlight to pe*****te directly to the growing plant (by having the residue laying on the ground).

Farm Green & A Night with Continuum Ag Special Guest Host, Mitchell Hora

Today Rick and Carol are meeting with Senator Braun. Tomorrow, Wednesday September 14th at 10am ET, the House Agriculture Committee will hold a congressional hearing on "Soil Health Practices and Programs that Support Regenerative Agriculture". Rick will be testifying. This is a historic moment for the movement and will shape discussions on building a more resilient agriculture system as we approach the next Farm Bill.
Mark your calendars, watch live here & share your thoughts: https://youtu.be/BN3EJi3HOLw

Soil Health Practices and Programs that Support Regenerative Agriculture

🌱Regenerate America is excited to announce that we will be returning to D.C. to participate in the House Ag Committee’s historic hearing on regenerative agriculture! 🌱
The hearing, hosted by Representative David Scott (D-GA-13) and titled “Soil Health Practices and Programs that Support Regenerative Agriculture” will be the first of the House Ag Committee that is dedicated solely to this topic. Chairman of the House Ag Committee, Rep. Scott is an important advocate for soil health and regenerative agriculture. In February of 2021, he invited Gabe Brown to testify and showed a clip of Kiss the Ground the film during a hearing on agriculture and climate. We are deeply honored in being invited to take part in such an important event.
Regenerate America will be represented by Indiana farmer Rick Clark @farmgreen13, who will testify about his experience of dramatically reducing input costs and chemicals on his 7,000 acres of regenerative-organic row crops.
The hearing will take place at 10 AM EST, on Wednesday, September 14th. It can be streamed via youtube or you can find the link on www.regenerateamerica.com, and we will be providing updates on key moments here and on twitter.
Afterwards, we’ll be providing Regenerate America supporters tools to amplify the hearing and advocate directly for support for regenerative agriculture in the Farm Bill, so make sure you've signed up to support the campaign at regenerateamerica.com!

Hi Everyone! We are looking for bees. We planted buckwheat on July 13th in a 40 acre field and a 50 acre field. The buckwheat is starting to bloom. We are looking for a beekeeper to come and enjoy the late pollen. Please contact Rachel at [email protected] if interested!

Great conference and collaboration among regenerative farmers and the agricultural industry! We might have been the only corn and soybean grower in the room, but soil health principles span across all crops and regions for greater profitability and most importantly improved human health.

Our second special guest this week is Kris Nichols. This is one powerful duo, and we can’t wait for all the great conversation to come! This is one episode you definitely don’t want to miss! Be sure to signup at www.farmgreen.land
