I’ve got two Cayuga ducklings left due to hatch in about a week. Let me know if you want them! They are a beautiful pure breed that’s friendly and has good egg production. $15.00 a piece.

• Homemade Laundry Detergent •

Finally found a pretty successful liquid laundry soap recipe that’s all non-toxic and works. Recipe listed below!

Ingredients:
1 cup Super Washing Soda
1 cup Baking Soda
1 cup Borax
1/2 cup Epsom Salts
1 cup liquid Pure Castile Soap
1 gallon of water

Directions:
Simmer gallon of water on stovetop and add all powder ingredients and stir and simmer down until mostly dissolved. (This part takes some patience.) Then cool and strain off remaining powdered ingredients and add the liquid Castile Soap (make sure it’s cool or it will curdle!) Stir well to mix in and pour into your holding container for your detergent. (A little more than a gallon once all mixed.) I also use vinegar in my softener cycle for added benefits. Let me know if you try it!

Trying to get rid of some of our duck eggs since we’ve got so many. Selling for $3.00 a dozen. Best used for delicious baking or just eat them scrambled.

We are selling 4 pure breed Cayuga ducklings (or fertilized eggs if you prefer to incubate) for $15 a piece. Unsexed and a beautiful breed that’s great for foraging and egg production. Estimated hatching is around 18 days.

Duck egg sales will be paused until further notice. The raccoon has been taken care of, but our flock has taken a hit with fatalities and injuries so we’ll be taking a step back to heal them and secure the pens more. Chicken egg sales continue as normal. Thank you!

Our girls are laying so many eggs now that the weather is warm and molting is done! Running a special for $7.00 for every two dozen. That’s a $1.00 off regular price.

We also have 3 dozen duck eggs available, which are perfect to bake with, for $3.00 a dozen.

•Easter Specials•

Bring the best taste of spring to your Easter gatherings this weekend!

• Homemade lemon blueberry loaf cake $8.00
• Dandelion honey (while flowers last) $6.00
• 1 dozen Farm fresh eggs $4.00

Did you know Dandelions are edible? The entire plant can be used to eat if not treated chemically. The bright yellow petals are sweet when steeped to make tea or honey and the greens are used more for salads since they can be more bitter tasting like other salad greens. They are full of vitamins and minerals including: Vitamin A, Vitamin C, Vitamin K, Folate, Potassium, Calcium, Iron, and Fiber. It aids in digestion and for that is nicknamed the spring cleansing herb.

We’ve got 1 dozen ducks for sale! $4.00 a dozen. Don’t know much about duck eggs? Here’s some facts and what I use them for.

• Duck eggs are higher in protein, fat, and larger than chicken eggs.

• Duck eggs do not taste “ducky” or gamey as some people may think. Just richer.

• Duck eggs shine best in making: custards extra silky, ice cream richer, pasta dough smoother, and scrambled eggs creamier.

• Duck egg shells are thicker and tougher and crack less often making less chance for accidents during handling and exposure to the elements.

Our Cayuga Ducks are due to start laying soon as well and if anyone is interested in purebred ducklings or future duck eggs keep your eyes on our page!
