Job Summary: Position is responsible for shipping of product. Responsible for loading shipments, verifying that contents are correct, and no items are damaged.

Duties and Essential Job Functions:

• Collaborate with management to determine shipping priorities.
General Purpose: Responsible for shipping and receiving products, ensuring product integrity, traceability, and rotation.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities:
• Unload production supplies including packaging, spice and raw materials. Accurately rotate stock and position for production.
• Operate handheld scanners to track material movement in a WMS software environment.
• Move finished goods from production to shipping area for loading on company shuttle.
o Follow specific rotation guidelines for each storage area
o Adjust storage areas as needed
• Load trucks following all proper truck loading procedures
• Assure all proper releases have been obtained from the QA prior to loading or unloading product.
o Maintain all required records and documents, such as the Daily GMP, Trailer Load Diagrams, and Operational Reports
• Receive shipments and unload packages from incoming trucks.
• Inspect contents to ensure they are undamaged.
• Verify packages according to order and invoices (quantity, quality, etc.)
• Label/Scan deliveries and allocate them to their designated place.
• Maintain accurate records and assist in inventory control.
• Operate a forklift and/or pallet jack to pull and move materials, product and supplies.
• Follow all safety rules and regulations per established company policies.
• Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) as required.
• Promotes, adheres, and is responsible for Food Safety and Quality.
• Maintains continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
• Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Any other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
• Ability to apply understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
Physical Requirements:
• While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms; stoop, talk or hear and will be working from heights. The employee is occasionally required to sit and taste/smell; and frequently required to climb and must be able to reach all levels in the bay. The employee will frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and regularly lifts 25 pounds.
Work Environment:
• While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions and moving mechanical parts. The employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles. The employee is occasionally exposed to high, precarious places; toxic or caustic chemicals; extreme cold; extreme heat and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud and requires that hearing protection be worn in production areas at all times.
