Developing a More Marketable Workforce in the Digital Age

In today’s fast-paced digital age, a lack of computer-based skills and knowledge can be a barrier to everything from everyday tasks to finding employment or career advancement. With Goodwill’s digital skills training programs, Kansans gain access to a wide range of hands-on workshops, building a more marketable workforce.

The Learn IT Digital Skills Classroom is a no cost resource that features 11 computer stations, a full library of Google-based resources, virtual classroom technology and individual coaching to ensure all participants learn professional-grade digital literacy skills. Aimed at adults, the lab will work with community agencies before arriving at a given location. Once there, participants will learn on-site and be given online access to continue their learning, utilizing referral services in the area such as public libraries, local schools/colleges and workforce centers, for example.
