Uncovered rotted trim, siding and sheathing caused by water getti ng trapped between rain gutters and the exterior wall. This condition could have been prevented with Kick Out flashing being installed. Yes, when I see gutters butted up to siding, I include it in the home inspection report and recommend installation of Kick Out Flashing to prevent water damage.
