An end of a great era…
back at BuCo, I bought this exact knife to get me through art classes in a kit. I have used this knife on every job I’ve processed and it helped me make every red penny I’ve made. It’s been lost and found and lost and found a hundred times. Who knows how many thousands of linear miles it has cut and how many scars I have from wielding it on my hands and fingers.
Always in my hand or in my mouth, it’s been with me to get the job done.
The internal post snapped and 34 years of service ends today…today old blue is retired.
…crap.

Finished up a big WU over at the weight room training facility in the roundhouse, at Koch arena on campus. I hate tall ladders.

Finishing up last round of signage before the team comes back tomorrow for another home stand. We applied more commercial sponsors on the fencing area behind home plate and out on the far wall. Learned a lot from MLB on these signs as their safety rules demand that all “white” graphics must be 30% as to not be so bright to distract the players line of sight.
Done for awhile till called upon.

Busy couple of days at the River Front Stadium for our friends the Wichita WindSurge!
Changing out sponsors inside the dugouts. Clean and removed the old and paint and apply new for the 2022 season.
I had both my best gals on the project to help out and it turned out great! Definitely hung a little color into the ballpark.
A few more fun projects coming up,
but we are ready to relax this weekend.

Here’s some more fun projects for our friends out at Riverside Stadium...an absolute genius campaign sponsored by Central Care Cancer Center and McPherson College, free sunscreen for beautiful bald heads like mine, while you are out at the ballgame!
These were quite challenging as we wrapped the round and fl**ge steel posts with a box display to hold the dispensers and share their printed message. The displays are 9 feet to the top of all the boxes. We also created floor decals at the base of the displays which provide additional poignant information about cancer.

Also completed a few more signs for BCBSKS for there register to win events and park to***co policy signs at all the public entrances.

We finished up a few more projects at Riverside Stadium, welcoming the first home game to start the 2022 season for the boys.
Cold and windy, and big decals don’t mix well, but we made it happen just before the gates opened. AND let me tell you, my helper is awesome!

Today we completed another great project for our Wichita WindSurge friends at Riverside Stadium. We printed and installed this 10ft x 16ft exterior vinyl mural wall promoting BCBSofKS. This one was quite unique but we think turned out great! It’ll will be a fun spot to take selfies while at the ball park.
