Here’s the thing most teams don’t realize until it happens to them 👇
If you’re using data enrichment, you’re participating in a larger data ecosystem — not just your own forms, imports, and uploads.
That means people can (and do) exercise their data rights upstream, even if they’ve never interacted with your brand directly.
So no, it’s not a phishing email. And no, it doesn’t mean you did something wrong.
