There are so many people to thank in a campaign it's hard to know where to start. So many of you walked with us in parades, wrote letters, stuffed envelopes, made phone calls, put up signs, went door-to-door, hosted meet-and-greets and did so many other things too numerous to list. I thank you all. I'd also like to give a special recognition to this group, who worked on the campaign from the outset: My good friend, Mike Kennedy; my son, Brock; volunteer extraordinaire Judy Just; campaign advisor Janis Friesen; and my Legal Assistant, Chris Leetch. Four other members of the core campaign team I'd like to recognize, though they weren't available for this photo: Hugh Nicks; Tom Lassley; my wife, Tonya; and my son, Kalle. Again, my thanks to you all.

Nothing is more important than family. I was immensely blessed to have the support of my sons, Brock and Kalle, and my wife, Tonya, throughout this campaign. My daughers-in law Jessica and Kate, and their families, too. They were troopers throughout every single day of the campaign trail. I'd like to share this photo of Brock, Kalle, Tonya and me from election night. I love you all. I'd like to offer my sincere best wishes to Faith Maughan and her family, as I know they worked diligently on her campaign, as well.
We were so fortunate to have many of you take Dave Dahl For Judge yard signs for your yards, businesses and neighborhoods. Now we begin the business of collecting those again. Please let us know if we can pick up signs from you. If you'd like to drop off your signs at the barn at the northwest corner of 53rd and Maize Road, you can do that, as well. Thanks again for helping us paint the county black-and-gold!
Friendships are so important to me and my family. We treasure each and every one of you and thank you for your support throughout this campaign. I am honored to be elected as your Sedgwick County District Court Judge. I promise you I will not let you down. For all who worked so hard on our campaign, a heartfelt thanks!
Dear Friends: Thank you all for the tremendous outpouring of support you have shown me and my family throughout our campaign. It's been both gratifiying and uplifting. I so much appreciate your kind words, letters and, of course, votes. Please join us tonight at Abode Venue starting at 7 pm for the Election Watch. I look forward to seeing you there!
I am blessed to have many dear friendships in our community, and so appreciative of each and every one. This morning's Eagle contained two letters to the Editor: one from my dear friend Bill Moore (linked in my previous post), and this letter from Mike Kennedy, my friend and WSU Basketall colleague for 31 years. Thank you, Mr. Kennedy, for the honor of your friendship all these years, and for your support of the Dave Dahl For Judge campaign.

Letters to the editor on U.S. goods, incumbents, Peterjohn, Dahl, Schneider, Wren, McGinn, O’Connor, Think about this before you vote: Most people agree that we need more jobs to make our economy grow. Tax breaks alone won’t create jobs. Before business owners invest money, they want to know there is a demand for their products or services.
