Happy Memorial Day! We never should forget the sacrifices that our military has made for the price of freedom. We should also remember that Jesus made the ultimate sacrifice by dying on the cross and raising three days later conquering sin and death. Let's remember the brave soldiers who protected our rights to live in freedom. We are one generation away from losing our freedom. Let's pray for the families of the U.S forces. Happy memorial day!

Imagine a world where young children grow up without ever hearing the name of Jesus Christ. Imagine them navigating the challenges of life without the foundational truth of John 3:16 or the hope found in the Gospel. Sadly, for many children in Kansas, this isn't imagination; it is their reality.
Currently, only 2% of children in Kansas are being reached with the Gospel. Furthermore, 80% of children are not being reached through traditional church settings. This creates a staggering spiritual gap. We cannot wait for them to come to us; we must go to where they are: in their neighborhoods, their trailer parks, and their public schools.
In this article, I address the importance of CYIA and how we cannot do it alone. We need your partnership.

Here is a poem that I have been working on. Here is the YouTube Video. Check it out!
Poem--Seated at Your Table By Andrew Hawkins “Seated at your table” is a poem that reflects this truth of not wanting anyone to perish. God wants everyone to be seated at His table. This poem is a refle...
This is a new chapter from Defenseless to Defended. The Book is in its final stages. Here it is. This is Chapter 37: "Dear God"
“Dear God” is a poem that reflects my relationship with God and is also a victorious prayer that attacks the venomous attacks that hang from Satan’s fangs. During the night, I face Satan’s attacks. To counteract these venomous attacks, I pray to God for help. This poem reflects my prayer life. One way I do this is by confessing my fears and my darkness before God. God is my comforting Rod. Without further ado, this is my poem “Dear God”
Dear God, I am writing.
This victory-filled prayer to you.
You are inseparable from me.
A true friend.
You are my rod.
You are here: inseparable from me.
You are my true and loyal friend.
You are an ever-present comforter.
You will never end—an everlasting king over me.
Your Word never bends—immovable and unshakable.
You are fending for me.
You set me free—free from the bo***ge of sin and death.
I will never bend from your Word.
You always set me on your straight Path.
You are my true compass.
You are my everything.
I will sing.
You will never pass over me.
You are my guiding light.
You shine in my darkness.
My darkness is like an immovable black hole
That I can never escape from on my own.
However, God bring the dawn
To my immovable black hole.
It is suffocating.
God’s Light penetrates my suffocating black hole.
God’s light opens my secret tin
Revealing my secret sin.
God’s light brings my secret sin to light.
I have no secret sin anymore.
I have confessed them all the more.
Despite all of this, I will continue to praise you.
Though I am facing my darkest moments head-on,
I made a binding commitment to you.
You shine in my night.
I am not afraid.
Afraid of what the night may bring.
I will sing to the everlasting king.
You are my comfort.
You are my guide.
You are my ever-present aid.
My defense is anchored deep,
around your steadfast Love.
You are my defense—an ever-present aid.
You build my defense with deep-rooted passion—the passion of Christ.
You are God’s son.
You are immovable.
You are able.
I can lean on you.
I shall not be afraid.
You are my awestruck God.
I shall not hide my sin in my secret tin.
You are my immovable Rod.
I shall not backslide.
I shall not want.
You are my comforting Shepherd.
Dear God,
Thank you for being my comforting Rod.
Thank you for being my Sword.
You are truly my Lord.
Dear God.
This is a sneak peek into my book "Defenseless to Defended," Chapter 34.
“I am His Child.” This declarative statement says, “I am God’s child. No demon nor false spirits can separate me from my father. I can cry ‘Abba Father’ to Jesus Christ. He can listen to me.” This poem is based on Romans 8:15-17. Romans 8:15-17 (ESV) states, “For you did not receive the spirit of slavery to fall back into fear, but you have received the Spirit of adoption as sons, by whom we cry, ‘Abba! Father!’ The Spirit himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God. And if children, then heirs—heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ, provided we suffer with him in order that we may also be glorified with him.” This verse has very deep meaning to my life. When I was growing up, I never realized fully that I was a child of God. I knew that Jesus rescued me from my sins but I did not recognize or saw that I am His Child. God has been working on my life significantly. This book has been a great tool for my spiritual journey and development. I am trying to live out the Biblical principles shown in this book. However, it is a marathon, not a sprint. Without further ado, this is my poem, “I am his Child.” I hope this helps you as you encounter Satan’s venomous attacks.
“I am His Child”

God is almighty.
He is so, so mighty.
God is almighty.
He is so, so mighty.
I am His Child.
I am not wild.
I am in His guild.
I am His Child.
God is almighty.
He is so, so mighty.
God is almighty.
He is so, so mighty.
He removes my mountains.
I am not alone.
He removes my mountains.
I am not alone.
God is almighty.
He is so, so mighty.
God is almighty.
He is so, so mighty.
The Rocks cry out to Him.
I shall not pout.
I can sing hymns.
I shall not pout.
God is almighty.
He is so, so mighty.
God is almighty.
He is so, so mighty.
The waves may be rough.
God is my anchor.
The waves may be rough.
God is my anchor.
I am His Child.
I am not wild.
I am in His Guild.
I am His Child.
I can hold fast.
God is awesome.
I can hold fast.
God is not loathsome.
He can cast out my demons.
God is almighty.
I am a Freeman.
He is so, so mighty.
He sent His son.
To save me.
He sent His son
To rescue me
Rescue me from my demons.
Hallelujah, He has set me free!
He is my savior.
Hallelujah, He has set me free!
He is my protector.
Hallelujah, he has set me free!
He is my defender.
Hallelujah, Hell lost another one, me!
Hallelujah, The Angels rejoiced, “He has been set free!”
Hallelujah, Hell lost another one, me!
Hallelujah, The Angels rejoiced, “He has been set free!”
Hallelujah, I can reside in Heaven with God.
Hallelujah, God is my Rod."

I would like to reiterate this point.
Eric Bridge stated, "The rise of militant secularism — and increasing efforts to make the practice of biblical faith socially and legally unacceptable — are slowly raising the cost of discipleship in America." (https://www.brnow.org/.../Platt-Opposition-reveals-our.../)
Our American culture is becoming more militant and is becoming more anti-Christian everyday. The stakes of being a Christian is high. I know a lot of celebrity pastors who have walked away from the faith. But if you truly count the cost of discipleship, it totally worth the social media opposition of Christianity and the opposition from our friends or from family members.
Look at the first disciples that followed Jesus. Matthew 4:19 states, "Jesus said to them, "Come, follow me, and I will make you fishers of men." Then immediately, they dropped the nets and followed him.
Do you immediately follow God or do you say "I will do it later?"
If you are the latter. The time is now. As Mark Hoover passionately stated, "We are living in the "last hours of the last days." You have to make the right choice of making a personal relationship with Christ Jesus, Our Lord and Savior who saved us by dying on the cross for the penalty of our sins and raising on the third day conquering sin and death...
Or will you reject this beautiful promise and be living for eternity in the wrong place, Hell. Hell is a real place full of great torment and gnashing teeth.
In End, you have a choice to make. If the Rapture happened tomorrow, Are you on God's side or not? There is no middle ground anymore. You have to choose a side. The choice is yours to make. I cannot make that choice for you. As Austin Renfroe passionately sang, "You gotta serve somebody."
Who are you serving--God or somebody else?
Platt: Opposition reveals our beliefs • Biblical Recorder International Mission Board President, David Platt, discussed a number of missions-related issues during a recent interview. Among these was the rise of militant secularism and increasing efforts to make the practice of biblical faith socially and legally unacceptable. The higher cost to live and de...
